Nanny Movement blog: Motherhood is often an experiment on how long your body can function without adequate sleep or nourishment and fueled only on adrenaline, coffee and baby smiles. …and the all of a sudden when you get sick, we realize how important it is to take care of ourselves.
The fact is that most of the time mommies cannot take away the busyness. We then also sometimes want our own moms as bad as our kids want us. Here are 7 simple tips on how to stay healthy this winter
- Upgrade your self- care routine;
- Drink more water;
- Meal prep;
- Go for checkups;
- Supplement when needed, and
- Eat smart not less; and
- Play with your kids
Keeping ourselves at our best takes a lot of work. Even if you can only focus on a few things at a time, but you will also still feel better than you would have otherwise. These healthy habits may seem simple, but they will go a long way to helping you feel your best.
Remember Mommies that taking care of yourself is an important part of taking care of your kids, family and household… listen to your body and let it rest when needs to. And remember to spoil yourself from time to time!
